The City of Lander, Wyoming, is seeking a highly qualified, community-focused professional to serve as its next Chief of Police. The Chief of Police is responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing departmental operations, fostering strong community relationships, and ensuring the safety and security of residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to community-oriented policing, and the ability to effectively manage both personnel and resources.

This position’s Salary Range is Pay Grade 14 which starts at $104,627. Pay depends on experience and current certifications.
